ABOUT JM TRAILER RENTALS

ABOUT JM TRAILER RENTALS

Inside JM Trailer Rentals in New Haven

"JM Trailer Rentals is based in New Haven, IN and provides affordable, no-hassle trailer rentals to homeowners, contractors, and businesses across Allen County. Owner Joe handles every rental personally, from the first phone call through pickup and return. The process is simple: call, confirm, pay electronically, pick up, and go. Pricing runs well below the major national rental chains, and the extended hours — 5am to 9pm, six days a week — mean you are not locked into a narrow pickup window."

"Joe started JM Trailer Rentals to solve a specific problem: people in New Haven and the surrounding Indiana communities needed trailers on short notice, and the big chain rental places either charged too much or made the process harder than it needed to be. The operation runs lean on purpose. There is no corporate overhead, no complicated rental agreements, and no automated system putting you on hold. When you call JM Trailer Rentals, Joe picks up. When you need a trailer by 5am on a Saturday morning in Allen County, that is exactly what you get."

"Customers consistently point to three things that keep them coming back: the price, the speed, and the communication. Rentals move fast because the pickup and drop-off process is stripped down to what matters. Electronic payment means the transaction wraps up before you even arrive at the Irving Rd location. And if a question comes up mid-rental, you call Joe directly and get a direct answer — not a hold queue."

"JM Trailer Rentals serves New Haven, Fort Wayne, and the broader Allen County region in Indiana. Whether the job is hauling equipment for a weekend project, moving furniture across town, or transporting contractor materials to a job site, the fleet is available Monday through Saturday with enough evening hours to fit around a full workday. This is trailer rental run the way a small local operation should run: available when you need it, priced fairly, and operated by someone who actually picks up the phone."

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a trailer from JM Trailer Rentals?
JM Trailer Rentals prices trailers well below what the major national chains charge in the New Haven and Fort Wayne area. Multiple customers report paying roughly half the rate of big-chain competitors. Call (260) 300-5169 for current pricing on the specific trailer type and duration you need.
Do you offer same-day or last-minute trailer rentals?
Yes. Same-day rentals are a regular part of the operation. The phone is answered from 7am Monday through Saturday. If a trailer is available, you can have it on your hitch within the hour. One customer called at 7am on a Saturday and had a trailer by 7:30am.
How do I pay for my rental?
JM Trailer Rentals accepts electronic payment, processed by phone when you book. There is no need to bring cash or wait for an invoice when you arrive. The transaction is handled before pickup so you can focus on getting the job done.
What areas do you serve?
JM Trailer Rentals is based in New Haven, IN and serves customers throughout Allen County, including Fort Wayne, Woodburn, Leo-Cedarville, Grabill, Harlan, Monroeville, and Huntertown. Call (260) 300-5169 if you are unsure whether you are within range.
What types of trailers do you have available?
The fleet includes utility trailers, cargo and enclosed trailers, flatbed trailers, moving trailers, and equipment trailers for heavier loads. Availability varies by date. Call (260) 300-5169 before heading over so Joe can confirm the right trailer is ready for your job.

What are your hours?
JM Trailer Rentals is open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 9pm. Closed on Sundays. The extended evening hours mean you can pick up or drop off after a full workday, which is useful for contractors and homeowners running projects in the New Haven and Fort Wayne area.
Do I need a specific hitch to tow a rental trailer?
Most trailers require a standard 1-7/8 inch or 2-inch hitch ball, and your tow vehicle must be rated to handle the combined weight of the trailer and load. When you call, Joe will tell you exactly what hitch size the trailer needs so you can confirm your setup before driving to New Haven.
How long can I keep the trailer?
Rental duration is flexible and discussed when you book. Most customers in the Allen County area rent by the day. If you need a trailer for multiple days, call (260) 300-5169 to confirm availability and the multi-day rate. Return is at the New Haven location on Irving Rd.
Is the pickup location easy to find?
